ANJOU RECHERCHE is the main responsible in charge of the development of the preindustrial part of the project.

Anjou Recherche: It is the research centre of Veolia Environment dedicated to water field, based in France, and working in close collaboration with its affiliated units in the United States, Canada, Germany and Australia. Anjou Recherche objectives are to anticipate environmental and public health standards, develop the tools and processes of future, improve the existing techniques and provide expertise to operating companies and builders. It represents around 150 employees, mainly engineers and technicians, working on water, wastewater and sludge treatment, process water and wastewater for industrial management, water reuse, chemical and biological processes, environmental studies, water supply and sewage system management and design. Anjou Recherche has developed many scientific and technical partnerships either with private companies and public bodies or universities.
